What Places Is
Places is a field guide to the most remarkable places on Earth, presented by Simon Whistler.
We cover geography, remarkable locations, natural wonders, and the history behind the places that define our world — free editorial articles and videos, with an optional weekly newsletter and a merchandise store.
Who Operates This Site
Places is owned and operated by Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o., registered at Oblouková 550/26, Vršovice (Praha 10), 101 00 Praha, Czechia (IČO 09305068; registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 334130).
Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. publishes the site's editorial content and operates the newsletter. It does not process or receive merchandise payments — see below.
How the Store Works
Merchandise offered in the Places store is sold and shipped by Fourthwall, Inc., which acts as the Merchant of Record for every order. When you place an order, your contract of sale is with Fourthwall, not with Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. — Fourthwall processes your payment, applicable sales tax, and fulfillment, and handles returns under the Refund & Return Policy.
