The terms governing access to Places, newsletter sign-ups, and use of our editorial products. Merchandise purchases are governed by Fourthwall's terms as Merchant of Record.

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Places, operated by Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Places provides online articles, videos, and related digital content covering geography, remarkable locations, natural wonders, and the history behind the places that define our world. We avoid superficial framing and prioritize explainers that help readers understand the context, culture, and science of each location.
All editorial content on the Site is available free of charge. Newsletter sign-ups are optional and may be cancelled at any time. Merchandise is sold separately through the Places store.
3. Merchandise & Fulfillment
Fourthwall, Inc. acts as the Merchant of Record for orders placed through the Places store. When you place an order there, your contract of sale is with Fourthwall, not with Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Places website and editorial products; Fourthwall's terms, the specific product listing, and your order confirmation govern the merchandise purchase.
- —Fourthwall processes payments and applicable sales tax as Merchant of Record. Fulfillment, returns, and product-level support follow the specific product listing, order confirmation, and applicable seller or fulfillment party.
- —Shipping costs are calculated dynamically during checkout based on the items ordered and your delivery destination. The final shipping amount is displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- —You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Delivery timelines depend on the product type, fulfillment partner, and destination.
4. Refunds & Returns
Return eligibility, replacements, and support follow the terms for the specific product and order and are handled by the seller or fulfillment party identified in the product listing or order confirmation, subject to applicable consumer law.
When the specific product listing or order terms identify items as made to order, those terms may state that such items do not carry a general right of return for sizing or preference, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
For an order placed through the Places store, an approved refund is issued through Fourthwall as Merchant of Record to the original payment method. 5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague.
